Hello! I’m Maggie! And I know you’re dying to ask so I’ll go ahead and do it for you. Do I love Macaroni & Cheese? Of course I do! Who doesn’t? But there is a lot more to me than elbow noodles and packaged powdered cheese. I am “cheesy” but that is a whole different ball game.
Once upon a time…. I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Public Relations. I was a bartender in college (and LOVED it) and I decided I couldn’t do an “office job” so I went into wedding planning for a very prestigious country club. One day I realized that as much as I loved event planning, my brain needed more stimulation than long conversations centered around the difference between taupe and off-white table linens. And I missed writing!! My friends suggested applying for a job at an internet marketing company and while I was terrified of the internet; I decided I loved PR and marketing too much not to give it a stab!!
After two years of tooling around on the internet, it’s no longer scary to me at all! I have learned a ton and what is best about this new knowledge is passing it on to others. Have a question about this magical unicorn called Social Media? Let’s chat.
